I am a NY licensed clinical psychologist with years of experience providing individual psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments in both English and Spanish. I received a BA from University of Illinois at Chicago and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology- Chicago (APA Accredited). I completed my predoctoral internship at NYC Health + Hospitals- Woodhull in Brooklyn, NY and my postdoctoral training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS), Manhattan HIV Brain Bank, where I currently hold a faculty appointment in the Neurology Department. I have worked extensively in various clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric units, community centers, and outpatient clinics providing psychological services to children, adolescents and adults facing various types of emotional and psychological challenges. I utilize an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining evidence-based with experiential and psychodynamic interventions. In my current role at ISMMS, I am also engaged at various capacities with clinical research, including examining the psychological and neurocognitive impact of COVID-19. I am an active member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and a member of the American Psychological Association, International Neuropsychological Society, and Hispanic Neuropsychological Society.
